Glad you have got it at last. I am biased of course but by Firenze HSE Dynamic is the best colour trim combination I have seen.

Ha ha your just driving around aimlessly so that you can hit 1000 miles asap, so you can really thrash it. Busted mate Rolling with laughter

In fact I am also guilty of the exact same thing. No harm in it I can assure you Thumbs Up

    Hi,

On my RRS2 there's a running in map till 5000 miles - though JLR won' admit it publically - after that all 306 horses begin to work together - it just " lights up"

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Hey Scrumps I never knew that. Thumbs Up
Ha ha everydays a school day. I will remember that when I get my SVR. Laughing

Well I think it depends on the dealers. The majority will be honest, but the minority rogues will tell you it's OK as it's been bench tested.

Am sure that Cadillac has a 100,000 service interval when you change the sparks plugs for the first time. Seems crazy to me.

Anyhow remember zanussi washing machines were virtually bombproof and lasted 20-25 years. Well they started too loose money as no repeat customers and were virtually bankrupt. Hence they started too introduce intrinsic faults in there products.

Hence nowadays 5 years is usually the maximum lifespan of a machine give or take 1 year.

Anyhow my point being, the manufacturer whatever they produce, rather you bought their products every 5 years than every 20 years. Hence more profit for them. Goods have become more disposable nowadays unlike the good old days when they lasted a lifetime.

Hence the dealers make a packet when the cars are back in the garage getting fixed, so it's in there Interest too tell you porkies, usually the Arthur Daley types of garages though.

Plus am sure we are all sensible enough too take care and pride of our new toys for the first 1000 miles as the last thing we want is too have them back in the garage so soon, and like the saying goes the best things come too those who wait Thumbs Up

(Mind you 2 mins warming food in the microwave is the longest eternity ever) Laughing

Apologies for the boring analogy but am sure you guys get the drift anyway before I started rambling on. Rolling with laughter
