    Why does my Home Screen look like this??



    New to me, 2017 HSE. Why does my home screen look like this and not like the one in the manual?! Trying to work out how to control the rear climate from the Home Screen and just can’t find it anywhere.

    Probably never been updated?

    Check your software version if you can, but probably too old a version to be receiving OTA updates.
    If you can get onto the latest version you will also have Apple CarPlay.
    2017 HSE now sold, if you own WF17AXN then you have a well sorted car!

    Got to say SWMBO sussed that one out in a nanosecond, quickly followed by the heated steering wheel. Not surprised, when it comes to heating her a**e.

    As for the screen appearance, do you mean it being a light background? It can be changed between light and dark.

    Thanks all - software was updated 21/2/21, it’s s20 (?) I think? Would this not have changed the screen? Strange that the manual for 2017 model shows a different image.

    There's a few different screen backgrounds to choose from (nothing exciting) and you have the "winter trees" scene there...
    2023 D300 Metropolitan, Hakuba Silver, Low Range, Solar screen, Deployable towbar, FBH, sidesteps.

    Just to clarify, I know about the different backgrounds and light/dark, but I’m specifically wondering why mine doesn’t look like the one in the manual (2017), with the layout as shown in the photo? With climate shown etc?

    That layout is the old one that has been replaced by the one you have now. You have the current design.
