    Cabin Preconditioning (Park Heater)

    Hello
    looking to purchase the new disco 5, but need to know if the park heater or cabin preconditioning as LR call it, can be activated, if not added as an option at build?

    I think it’s a factory option only.
    Definitely not something that can just be activated later.
    One of the best options out there. Mine’s still in use now because it’s so bloody cold.

    You technically don’t need it and just use the app to start it each morning but that’s too much of a faff for me.

    It uses a separate fuel burning heater. It's not just something that can be activated, lots of extra parts would need to be fitted.

    I wouldn't be without it, I use it every morning from Autumn to Spring (and sometime even in British Summer Laughing ).

    I've just ordered a new one, my old one (with "Cabin Preconditioning") will be for sale when it arrives.
