Activity Key programming to my car
Hi all,
I've bought a new boxed activity key from ebay and I believe it has to be coded to the car, is anyone on here doing this kind of service please and if not any suggestions? I'm in Merseyside.

Do you not also need the receiver which goes inside the rear hatch?

I believe it's standard on the HSE Lux but I'm open to being educated

Mine is a 2020 HSE Lux but the rear receiver wasn't pre-fitted.
I underdstood the activity key and receiver come as a matched pair and/or you need the bar code which is on each part/plastic box the activity key comes in.
The receiver takes minutes to fit - takes longer to take the tailgate trim off.
If you are stuck locally, there is an independant in Stockport who can do the programming.

There’s no rear receiver on the facelift models. It’s just a normal key by that point as it’s the activity key v2. Don’t know if that’ll work with older cars but I mention it as I don’t see why in theory it couldn’t if it’s just a normal keyless entry kind of key by that point.
