    To be fair, WBAC + £500 is pretty good. Would put mine (MY20, 15 months old) at £66.8k. I’ve seen a few retail around £73k, which makes that offer reasonable in my view.

    Might be worth giving Motorway a go

    Their reserve price was higher than WBAC and the actual price was IIRC 1.5K more than WBAC for my 4year old Mercedes E220 but that might have been good luck because they operate a closed auction system so end price is down to the market on the day.

    Guy (franchised Mercedes dealer) came to the house for pick up. Money in bank before he drove away. Very smooth transaction and no surprises.

    We will see what the wind blows in from the dealers on Monday, I could wait 6 or so months I suppose, but not a year plus, there’s more import things in life to occupy my time.

    That said, I may have talked SWMBO out of it. You just find something else she’d like to have. Wink
