    2019 Discovery SDV6 HSE Loire Blue

    Apple Car Play urgent help

    So just about to buy a used 2019 HSE SDV6 commercial and the seller doesn’t think it can be upgraded to have apple car play.

    It has in car connect apps but no car play!

    Any reason this would be as it’s well specced and now the first one without it I have seen!!!!

    Odd. I drove several 2019 cars and they all had it.

    I also believe earlier cars can be upgraded.

    I’d suggest ringing your local dealer with the reg plate.

    As long as the Incomtrol software is version 19A or later then should be OK.

    I presume you need an active subscription to download?
    2017 HSE now sold, if you own WF17AXN then you have a well sorted car!

    Unless there's anything different about the commercial a 19 HSE can definitely be updated. Mine was done by the dealer.

    Our March 2018 plate had both apple car play and android auto installed for free by the dealer. Still tried to sting me for £250 even though i told them it was on topix and on the D5 Facebook forum. So I can't see why it can't be installed to a 2019 model?

    My 2017 was “upgraded” a few years back to include CarPlay, sorry can’t recall all the details
    F50, Fourtack, LR3 and now..............D5 HSE TDV6
