    Navigation - How to Avoid Places

    Hi All
    Traveling from the channel tunnel to a place called Chateauroux in France on Sunday.
    Satnav wants to take through Paris.
    Have done this before but at 3am in the morning. Not wanting to attempt it at around mid-day.
    Is there a way to set Satnav to avoid Paris???

    A16 , A28, A13 which basically bypasses Paris and adds only about 15 miles.
    Just put a waypoint in your sat nav Rouen should work. ,if you wish to not go anywhere near Paris add Chatre as a waypoint which is a little shorter than my first suggestion but a little longer time wise but only a few minutes and a more interesting trip.
    I worked down there for a while many years ago.

    Watch out for the part obscured speed cameras as you approach the tunnel just before Rouen.

    Very little latitude in speed allowance.
