Auto EPB?
I have a 2019 disco - does Land Rover have automatic park brake engagement when the vehicle comes to a stop at say traffic lights?
My wife’s VW has it hence me asking.

Not on 2019.
MY21 onwards vehicles have "brake hold" which used the brakes on each wheel not the hand brake.

My 2019 definitely doesn’t roll back when I stop on an incline and there is no need to manually apply the handbrake. No idea if that is transmission or handbrake but the car definitely takes care of if automatically.

Surely you can just try it & see if it behaves the same as your wife's VW.
Then the question will be as answered.

Wouldn't you get the handbrake applied icon if it comes on.
