    reversing camera often doesn't work

    Hello

    i have some issues with my reversing camera. Often the camera doesn't work. Also a error camera system faulty appears.

    I think it comes more often it rains or in the snow.

    Had anyone the same issues?

    Where can I start to search the fault.

    No I found the fault.

    I disassembled the rear tailgate lip where the camera is mounted. And the I saw that there is everything wet.
    I saw that there is a sealing on the upper and the lower side of the Lip.
    But on the lower side the sealing is only about half the lip in the middle.
    So I think water can get into the Lip left and right the lip.

    I think this is not a great construction so I will search If I can find any sealing which will fit.
    Also i will seal the connector for the camera.

    Has anyone the same problems ?

    Had a similar problem with the rear tailgate being wet inside, it was identified as the rear screen and camera washer hose had split ! Replaced under ext warranty Smile

    Thanks for your answers!

    Today I checked the connections from the camera.
    I put some "Kontakt 60" a really good contact fluid on it.

    But sadly the camera doesn't work.

    I will order a new one and will test it again.
