    Hi all just found out battery on the way out, Is it possible to change the battery one self or is it a dealer job

    I have no DIY/technical skills whatsoever, but you can book The AA to come and do car batteries on your drive (and a few other providers)... just in case you don't fancy going to the dealer or Halfords!

    Battery is no problem to change. The hardest part is opening the side panel on the right of the boot.

    The car has to be told that there is a new battery fitted.

    Namib Orange 1st Edition with black roof and wheels.
    Privacy, tow bar, drive pack, surround camera, heated front & rear seats, auto dim door mirrors, side steps, remote Pro, RSE, arm rest fridge dash cam front and rear.

    You don't need to access the battery. You can charge it by connecting to the jump-start connectors under the bonnet.

    To CHARGE it, there are charging terminals under the bonnet…. To CHANGE it, you have to take it out.

    Battery

    Jump leaded with my van the two prongs at the front took it for a 10 mile drive came back and put the ck charger on and it showing 12.7 volts ask AA Man to check it and he says it’s ok

    My fault do not leave ignition on for ten mins while checking tires Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

    I changed my battery. It wasn't too hard of a job. I did not have to tell the car anything.
    I didn't have an extension long enough to reach the top nut holding the retainer bracket. I loosed the bottom nut and bent the retainer up and made the swap, no issues.
