    Windscreen Trim Fail

Bouyed by my first post on D5 over the weekend (used to post on D3 back in the day and was fully stickered up) and the helpful responses...here's something else.
Driving on the A10 yesterday in pretty high winds at around the legal limit, heard a crack (assumed a chunky insect hitting the wing mirror) but then a flapping. The bottom of the trim on the driver's side of the windscreen had cracked and the top had unattached. So I pulled it off and made it home without anything else breaking.

Looks pretty easy to replace - just wanted to know if this happens a lot? (and not just the jinx of the main dealer servicing!)

I have messaged duckworthparts unless anyone can source parts more easily!

    Best, dajb

That was a common fault on the early models.

2017 HSE now sold, if you own WF17AXN then you have a well sorted car!
2022 Range Rover Sport P400e HSE Dynamic and 2023 Sport P440e Dynamic SE on order
