    IID TOOL Beta Software

    Hi

is there anyone else on the forum that has been invited to use the beta software for the IID tool?

I have a MY21 D300 R-Dyn, im trying to get the adaptive cruise to work, but there a re quote a few options to select from (see photos).

I have tried a few variations, but keep getting the error message that emergency braking is nit working, that said, I had this message again yesterday after layabout about again, but it disappeared after I drove off, so I'm thinking that it may do the same since I have set the adaptive cruise, but its a lot of options to try.

help and guidance would be welcomed.

    Keith

Shortest way is read a CCF from a car with the optional in , understand the differences and replicate it on yours

Hmm if you are getting messages like that about the emergency braking not working, I would be pretty concerned about what the potential effects could be on the car of messing with these parameters. Is there a guaranteed bail-out "put everything back to original" recovery option available with the tool, or could you be stuck with an unintended fault on your emergency braking system...

    Hi
There is, the IID reads and stores the CCF at pairing, so you can return to default.

Are you sure you have all of the "hardware" needed for adaptive cruise control? It uses both a radar sensor in the front bumper and the cameras in the windscreen.

I think all D5s have the cameras in the windscreen, but do ones built without the adaptive cruise control have the radar sensor fitted?

    Hi
Lead to believe it uses same sensors as parking, according to LR dealership

The parking sensors only work at short range and low speeds. For Adaptive Cruise Control, you need this hardware https://www.scuderiacarparts.com/part-find...301/105476

You also need the extra switches on the steering wheel.

    Jon
When I activate adaptive CC, the switches appear on the steering wheel, so all good there, as for the additional parts, I will need to check, are those for a MY21 D300 RD?.looking at the info, it appears to be 2017 onwards, so may be an earlier version, also it’s petrol, not sure if that makes a difference

This seems to indicate that the MY21+ vehicles with PiviPro do already have the necessary hardware.
