    Forward alert & suspension error

Been out today & covered 100ish mile, dropped in the supermarket on the way back & all was good until I got a couple of warnings light up the dash before I even left left the car park,

A: Forward collision alert not available over 50.
B: Only normal suspension ride height available.

10 min drive back & left the car for 2hrs, but now I’m getting,

A: Forward collision alert not available over 50.
    B: Suspension fault detected.

Anyone any ideas of the possible cause or fix.
Problem I’ve got is I’m away with the tin tent in sunny Stratford on Avon,
    Cars Just out of warranty,
& no idea on any local indi’s around here,

    Any pointers welcome.

It is suspected that while parked someone has nudged the front of your vehicle with their vehicle which has resulted in the bracket supporting the sensor used for the Forward Collision alert being distorted. See

So look for any signs of an impact having occurred on the front bumper.

    Cheers @zig
Deffo didn’t get bumped, swmbo went into store while I sat in the motor, tho could be a sensor failure.

I did take it out this morning after letting it sit overnight, faults didn’t clear,

Could it be with a suspension fault, the car is not sitting level on the road throwing the sensor out of calibration?

Found an indi who can plug it in tomorrow & read the diagnostic codes,
Just need to know if I can drag the TA tin tent home this weekend without worry,

    Just a follow up.
Dropped over to an indi in Shipston on Stour, fault codes pointed to a compressor pressure issue,
no fault codes on any ADAS system, so the most likely culprit was the expansion vale.

So just to be sure, they removed the compressor, drilled out the rivets on the casing & the pressure valve was fubard.

While the unit was out, it was easy enough to replace the valve, riveted it all up & drop the compressor back in.

    Job done 👍
