For those waiting with bated breath, the car got us to the airport without missing a beat.
No nead for apologies Mole, it’s hard without having the car in front of you.

Just got back from hols and have been to fill up. Used exactly the same original pump that started all this off, closed by eyes, held my breath and kept my fingers and toes crossed. It filled right up from half full 🤷♂️.
This is, of course, of no use to anyone on the forum other than to say that luckily Darras was right.

After you've been hanging around this forum for a bit, you'll find that inevitably...Darras is right more often than not
He can be a font of knowledge when it's needed...and I'm glad your refuelling issue sorted itself out
