The Landmark should have almost everything that the HSE Lux has fitted given the age, 2020 is just pre-facelift so the Landmark versions are usually all the bells and whistles kinda thing, The HSE Lux's are also very well fitted out options wise, it'll also have a tilt and slide sunroof and rear seat entertainment if that floats your boat...
As for reliability...check that both have had the timing belts replaced, they're both at the age and mileage where it's now a necessity. You should ask the dealer to have them replaced as a condition of the sale if they haven't already been done...Timing belt replacement interval is 7 years or 110k miles, both of those D5's are now at that point where the next major service would require and include timing belts... So unless you have a spare £1200 or more (£2k+ at a main LR dealership) to have the belts replaced out of your own pocket after you've bought it, I'd fully expect the dealer to either replace the belts or reduce the price accordingly.
When I bought my 2017 HSE last year, I negotiated a £2k reduction in the sale price as the belts hadn't been done...the car had only done 75k miles but due to it's age, were due to be replaced.
I didn't tell the dealer that I was perfectly capable of replacing the belts myself though
As for the engine, the 3.0L SDV6 is a decently reliable powerplant. The engineering weakness in the D4's 3.0L SDV6 with the chocolate crankshaft has all but been eradicated...at least I've never heard of a D5 suffering a crankshaft failure.
At those sorts of mileages though, I'd drop the oil and filter service interval to every 5,500 miles instead of LR's recommended 10,000. The 8 speed ZF gearboxes are solid, and need very little servicing. At higher mileages and as preventative maintenance, I'd suggest a gearbox flush and oil/filter change...apart from that, they're good.
The main reported reliability issue with both the 3.0L TDV6 and later SDV6 engines on the pre facelift D5 is the DPF system...like all DPF's fitted to modern diesel engines, they're pernickety and occasionally troublesome. However, the D5's DPF is no more troublesome than any other in reality.
Other niggly D5 faults...window regulators and an occasional report of windscreen leaks...
I've no doubt someone will give you an exhaustive list of every single D5 fault ever reported on the internet...but genuinely, staying away from the 2.0L Ingenium engines... It's not a bad vehicle overall.
For me personally given the same choice (assuming both have had the belts replaced), I'd be swayed toward the Landmark if it indeed has those extra toys fitted... but have a look around them both and see which one fits you better

If the gearbox is fine with no sluggish changes across the range...it's good. The ZF gearbox is generally regarded as being relatively trouble free.
I suggested a gearbox flush and oil/filter change only as future preventative maintenance...same with the 5.5k miles engine oil and filter changes at higher mileages. Look after it in the long run and it'll look after you and yours
My wife is also disabled with mobility issues after going through several operations...we find that fitted sidesteps for her getting in and out are a great help in that regard. You can also select the suspension to automatically drop to access height when parked if that helps
As for insurance...I've heard the horror stories about UK mainland premiums from a few of the guys on here. I'm lucky enough to live on a remote and isolated island, my last renewal quote was £485 fully comp for the D5, exactly £100 more than it was for the D4

Shouldn't the In Control remote app count as a GPS tracking system? There's absolutely no difference of how it operates to an after market 'Thatcham approved' tracker.

The In Control app isn't connected via Bluetooth...or the remote climate start, remote locking and vehicle location display wouldn't work outside of the 20 metre or so Bluetooth range from the vehicle...It's also a point to note that I don't have a data sim card in the car nor use the onboard LR navigation or maps. My LR navigation account isn't activated on the car ...because it requires me to have a sim card installed to log in to it.
I do get the "Welcome, Mole. Please sign in to your account." message on the centre Nav screen since I linked up my In Control account though.
As long as the car and my phone can receive a mobile phone signal, In Control will work....which is the restriction of In Control as opposed to a Thatcham approved GPS tracking device...
My In Control app though, shows me that the Bling Barge at this moment is 5.2 miles away parked at home and is locked, alarmed, has no current issues and has a full tank of fuel in it. The last recorded journey was 3.4 miles from the local shop to it's current location yesterday at 15.06.
Beep and Flash, remote climate start and lock/unlock all work....If I select the 'navigate to' arrow from the In Control home screen location icon, it not only shows me where the car is parked to within 1 metre on Google maps (with a street view image of the farm from the end of my drive) but shows me where I am to within 1 metre (with my phone) and gives voiced navigation directions via Google maps to get to where the car is...so the Bling Barge has to be GPS located and tracked by the In Control app, same as my phone. They've both been linked since I went through the In Control set up process on the phone with the lovely Glynis.
Like I said, that's just the In Control app accessing Google maps and the Bling Barge live in real time via the 4G connection on my phone. I'm standing in the middle of a neighbour's field giving him a hand loading some fresh baling twine into his baler...well...I'm drinking a mug of very nice Douwe Egberts coffee from his flask and doing more blethering than actually helping...but you get the idea
