Navigation has disappeared
Sat nav had been working fine, but when I got in car yesterday and pressed the Navigation icon, it just comes up with a message "Please insert USB drive containing map files". restarted the car a couple of times, today too, but its still the same - Navigation has just suddenly ceased......and I don't have a USB drive containing map files.
Anyone have any ideas as to cause / resolution, or am I going to have to get it looked at under warranty (which wont be anytime soon given current JLR IT issues).
Also noticed today that Android Auto has just stopped working, so I cant use that for Navigation either.
Its a 2023 D300, with last software update being in April, and it says its up to date.
Thanks.

The PiviPro system doesn't use any USB drives for maps. All updates are downloaded using the built-in SIM card.
Try resetting the system: engine running but car stationary, press and hold the power button near the gear shifter until it reboots.
If that doesn't fix it, then it's a dealership job.

Is it recognising you “hello your username” on opening screen? Wonder if it’s lost the connection with your JLR account?

Thanks for suggestions but, there's no power button near gear lever, only media volume control and volume on/off..
JLR account appears to be connected OK.
So, I guess its back to the dealership once their IT is reinstated

That's the button you press and hold for about 20 seconds to force a system reboot 👍

jonM… sorry to disagree but Pivi Pro can be upgraded via USB.
I will find the link (am currently at Uni) but you can download the updates makes exactly like for the older system.

Well there you go, you learn something every day - apparently you can.....

They normally just automatically update OTA, so there shouldn't be any need to download them to a USB but perhaps this is what yellodisco needs to try.
