TPMS ignoring the spare
Just bought a used D5 on a 23 plate.
On delivery I noticed on start up only pressures for the 4 tyres where shown, not the spare.
On the previous D4 all 5 were shown.
I assumed the valve in the spare was a standard one but then I got a puncture and confirmed after a drive on the spare, that it did.
The puncture has now been fixed and that is now the spare, so I know it’s got a working valve. How we, having just checked it’s still not showing up.
It’s like the valve is either out of range of the transponder or it’s not able to show 5 pressures at once. The issue of course is that you can’t test the spare tyre with kit removing it first.
Can anyone else please confirm if 1) the D5 has the ability to show 5 tyre pressures and if so, 2) what could be causing this?

I was told to rotate the wheel round so the valve was at 9 o clock …closest to the transponder.
Didn’t work for me…mine still comes up with low pressure amber warning on start up despite being 50psi.
I have an older model than you, the spare isn’t shown on my display just the 4 active wheels

It doesn't show the spare tyre's pressure but it will warn you if the pressure is low.

Does anybody have a D5 which shows the spare then?
