Hi guys, just asking if anyone else has even noticed the paint missing from the top of the passenger door reveals from the rubber and I can only guess sand/grit
I’m going to sort out the paint but looking to use a vinyl film over it to try and stop the rub
Few pics of what it’s done, had the car 12 months now and ok y just noticed this issue.
Does anyone else know of this as a common problem [/img]
Bad design issue then, the car is 2017 but I’ve had it 12 months so I’ve got some touch up paint coming but for a more permanent I’m thinking a vinyl cover black or red
What ever I do I’ll put some pics on
The vinyl sounds the best idea Dazz, I'd be interested in how you tackle it if you decide on that..
It's the same as the scuff marks at the bottom corners of the boot lid on older D5's...open and close the boot enough times over the years and they all show the same scuff marks on the plastic trim and bumper. They're usually valeted away before you buy the car from a dealer...but they don't take long in reappearing.
