Anyone using an amateur band radio in the D5?

Anyone installed an amateur band radio in the d5? I've an Icom unit I want to put in. Obviously the power is no issue with the battery in the back, but how do you get the antenna cable out? Years ago I used a glass mount for 2m but I want to run a 10m antennal on the roofrack. Short of drilling a hole in the body I can't see an easy way to get it thorugh from the inside as it is chunky coax. Any ideas/solutions would be very welcome.

There is route out in the rear behind the boot closing panel.
The plastic trim pulls off and there is grommet behind it.
If you remove the boot interior trim behind the battery you can then feed a cable up through the grommet.
It is a bit awkward to feed through but there is a route.
You can then route it around the tailgate opening and up to the roof through, or behind, the roof gutter trim.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks - is that the plastic trim to the side of the rear light cluster? That sounds ideal.

Yes it’s just on the inside of the boot aperture, only accessible with the boot open.
This is the trim piece off the car.
It is just clipped in but might need a bit of a tug to remove.
