  Tailgate and Roof Boxes....

  Fitted quite a large Thule roof box for a trip through France last week. Unlike the D3/4, you can only put the cross bars in 2 fixed locations. And then the roof box is too close to the rear of the car and the tailgate will hit it
  
  But... in case you don't know, you can set the tailgate where to stop. Manually stop it when it's rising and then hold the button on the inside of the boot lip for about 5-10 seconds, You'll hear a beep and then it will only rise to that point. Clever!

  Tailgate

  Handy tip, but I'm still nursing a large gouge out the top of my head caused by the corner of the tailgate, so the last thing I want is it stopping any lower than it does at the moment
