    Seats...

    Yes prospective trying to figure it all out. We tend to do this on vehicle swaps.
    I've only been on here a few weeks now - learning a lot from experienced others, especially those with early D5's brave people that bought at the start of the model run.
    The rear seats are dissapointing, I just can't get comfortable at all, I've tried on a couple of long test drives (60 mins + ) me in the back the missus driving.. we've got to evaluate how often I'd be banished back there on family journeys to events.
    The verdict of my two twenty odd year old sproggs was "OK" & "not like our car" our current Disco is like part of the family - the trusty workhorse
    A longer journey may make stronger comments.

    Others with new Discos seem to either be not bothered or not that happy rear seat
    Winger - do you find yours OK ?

    We do some long runs 4 / 5 passengers - towing trailer or more usually single horse box.
    The rear tailgate lower would be badly missed for tack sorting.

    I'm only making a car swap move in the autumn as that's when my business finances fund this. I don't want to & can't afford to get this wrong.
    May even look at an ex demo one.

    Before I signed up on either site (19th April I think)
    Some good observations on seats. My missus has said the best test is sitting in there.
    But I've backtracked to read the D5 section on D3 site - some really good stuff there on Discos
    That's helped me on my current Disco couple of issues with battery drain. & a wonky door lock.
    I've yet to explore the Defender site & join.

    I ain't got the time for all the other non Disco stuff - fun to read though.

    Winger I don't know how you could reach that conclusion that they are one and the same. It's not like they both have issue's with the rear seating. In the D5
