    Slightly off topic, but how are the plates attached in the UK? Our
    Canadian plates are smaller and I'm hopeful I can actually centre mine. Would the plate 'rack' get installed at the dealer? If so I would get them to hold off.

    There are two fixed holes in the tailgate but a lot of dealers put them on with double sided tape.

    Issue is not what the plates is attached with but the fact the number plate illumination is also set off center so you cannot move the plate as it would not be properley illuminated and as such would be illegal as well as looking very stupid
    Namib Orange 1st Edition with black roof and wheels.
    Privacy, tow bar, drive pack, surround camera, heated front & rear seats, auto dim door mirrors, side steps, remote Pro, RSE, arm rest fridge dash cam front and rear.

    The law only requires it 'to be illuminated' it doesn't specify how bright or by how many lights ...you could therefore just remove the lamp from the right hand light and just have one above a square plate.

    US sized plates sit far more easy on the eye IMO
