    Front console Cooler/fridge

    Hi,

Just wondering does the cooler/fridge only work when the ignition is on or can it still operate when the D5 is parked up

    Thanks

Hand Book should give answer, but most things that actively consume power go off either with ignition or a predetermined time after (eg radio).

Mine only works when the car is on. The power switch is illuminated when there is power.

Not a great cooler. More a keep stuff that's already cold cool.

based on previous LR3/LR4's I've had, it's off when the ignition is off.

This one in the D5 though is much improved though, it's now deep enough to hold a Gatorade sized drink, The last one I swear was designed for Apple juice boxes. Wink

Mine also only powered up when the car was on, and powered down when the ignition was switched off. It had a lime green light on the on/off switch. Kept the soft drinks cans nice and chilled the only time we used it. (The D4 cooler worked the same as the D5 one did).
