    3.0 V6 Diesel

    Interesting regarding Engine

"Ford created engine solely 4 JLR years ago. Since modernized by JLR. Still built at Ford plant. Ford now using the modern version for F150."

2019 Discovery Td6 HSE Lux Carpathian Grey

JLR haven't sold them anything. It's a Ford engine, sold to JLR. It's a Ford crank issue. Why do you think JLR want to build their own engines?

    2.7L -3.0L engine

Found this regarding the 2.7L-3.0L Ford engine. Might be of interest to those that understand engines.

2017 Discovery Td6 HSE Indus Silver

For North America the TD6 is the first desiel that LR have offered and given the VW "scandal" was a brave move. It is still not possible to get fuel at every petrol station yet but availability seems okay in my area. I have not yet passed the 2000km mark yet but I prefer this engine to the V8 in my LR3 certainly in terms of economy

    F50, Fourtack, LR3 and now..............D5 HSE TDV6

In the US where I am maybe 40% of stations have diesel. Had to give up my two "regulars" with the Discovery purchase as they don't serve up diesel at all. Including the one with free air! Sad
