Ridges on bonnet
Probably common knowledge. But ....
Viewing the ridge on the bonnet from the driving seat indicates where the inner wheel track is, thus aiding offf road driving.
Same for all Landrover's part of original design.

It's funny that they should go to all of that trouble, yet leave the two front corners completely hidden from the driver's view...

I’m on my 3rd LR product (4th soon, when the D5 arrives) and I’ve never heard of this before
Makes perfect sense - thanks for sharing Peter

Sorry would disagree with that even with 22 inch wide tyres mine still don’t come up to the crease

Obviously I’m a off-road/ Landrover novice apologies I got it wrong.
Made bold stuff I probably failed to highlight.
Would be interested comments from Landrover experience East, from who’s personnel told me this

You didnt get it wrong, you were told a little white lie. I have been told the same thing at two different Experience centres.
Google "any Land Rover you want" front view in images and you see its not true

Nothing confusing at all, keep it up to prove that their advice is incorrect.

with some imagination and aspect you can see the ridge will show where the wheels will travel forom the drivers eye view. not from above
