The dealer has assured me that car will be with them by the end of February. They are just being cautious with the extension to the dates incase of any unforseen problems.
As am getting extras fitted like the tow bar roof rails and mudflaps, which don't come factory fitted, my local dealer is doing that also, so the car will be fully ready for pick up on March 1st
Not sure if it's helped me having put my deposit down last March has helped me.??
I have just spoken to someone at LR and they have said no customers will get cars until at least March. Dealers will not even get demonstrators till end of Feb

Test drive
Just a quick update guys, my dealer in Glasgow has gone down to Birmingham today to test drive the D5. Hopefully the demonstrators should be on the forecourts soon -

4 loads of D5
Driving back from Epernay, France to the UK yesterday(on the A26) I spotted 4 car transporters carrying at least 8 D5s each! They were heading east i.e. into the continent. I wonder if these are demos or for sale? Seems odd that they won't be in dealers until end of Feb, when they are being shifted around Europe at the end of Jan. Anyway FYI!

Delivery date
Well my dealer rang me today and verified that the demo cars and first editions are all getting delivered on the same day, in just over 2 weeks time - approx 14 Feb. My car will deffo be ready for pick up on March 1st. Also mentioned the test drive was awesome, a massive improvement over the D4. Can't fault the car he said. If not for the Discovery badge you would think it's a RR he said. Interior is also so plush. I will be posting up photos once the dealer emails me them.

Spoke to dealer 2 days ago and was told nothing official has been announced. But assumes it will be same as RRS2 (was he telling me what I want to hear?) has promised to keep me updated.

I was told it is either £599/699 based on the D4 package, but it's not set in stone as of yet. -
