iOS 11.1 and iPhone X
I’ve just bought an iPhone X which is now running iOS 11.1
I never bother using the LR apps but just use the phone as a source which up until now worked fine ...... now I’ve connected the new device I’ve had some problems with playback and some of the menu functionality not working or being slow.
I haven’t had a chance yet to troubleshoot as to whether it’s the new device or 11.1 or both causing the problems.
Anyone else experiencing issues ?

I’ve just upgraded my 6S Plus to 11.1, so far seems ok.

I've got an iPhone 7 at the moment and have had issues when i've tried the incontrol apps.
I connect my phone and get the option to allow apps to talk to my phone, they then show up on the screen, but it doesn't matter what app I select, it disconnects after about 3 minutes. Then I can never re-connect without disconnecting my phone and reconnecting again.
Gave up after trying a number of times, I just either use the connection for music without running incontrol apps, or Bluetooth - they seem to be much more reliable.

This update (version 2.7.0) on iPhone 6 with iOS 11.1.2 doesn’t improve anything for me.
I have the same issues as mentioned before, connection issues, disconnect after 3 minutes, reappearing dialog on iPhone asking to allow the connection etc.
I have now found a workaround to solve my problem that is « i want to start the car and listen to music, for example spotify and of course continue the track where I left when reentering the car »
My solution:
I took my old iPhone 5 with iOS 10(!), installed LR Apps and Spotify, connected my iCloud Account to it.
I put up a 3G Wifi Hotspot in the car
Connected the iPhone5
Opened Apps, Opened Spotify and started listening
No problems, no connection issues.
When reentering the car, the second after you see the Landrover Logo the music resumes playing without ever touching the old phone. You can just leave it in the car (protected by passcode).
This combination works without any disconnect messages etc.
I will use this solution until landrover pushes an update that resolves all the connectivity issues with iOS 11.

The music resumes playing when starting the car, but the iPhone has to be unlocked once just to be able to access the inControl Apps Home Screen.
