    2017 Discovery Si6 HSE Scotia Grey

    6 Week old Discovery Si6

    Some pictures of my Discovery (scotia-grey) on a recent road-trip to Alberta, Canada.

    Covered some 3000 miles over 10 days and it was definitely awesome to drive long distances. It handled quite well some treacherous road conditions (packed-snow/ice) on Icefields parkway (Alberta) and parts of Mt Hood National forest (Oregon). The Si6 still feels quite slow on up-slopes most likely due to the weight of the car.

    Overall a pretty solid car, but I have minor annoyances/issues with quality of plastics/glass used in the car which has caused following issues
    - dashboard-creaks
    - rear storage box that does not shut
    - one of the rear door plastic trim over wheel arch juts out slightly
    - the windscreen glass (st.gobain/fuyao?) seems to get chipped by stones far more easily compared to my 2008 LR2 (pilkington)

    I have an appointment with the LR dealer next week and hopefully some of these issues will get fixed.
