Rear washer water noise in B Pillar
Been noticing on occasion that when using the rear wash wipe I get a noise like water spraying inside the body right above my head. I can only assume the washer pipe runs up and through the roof. Problem is, when this happens no water comes out of the washer onto the rear screen. Mostly though it does work and in this case I don’t hear the water spraying inside the B Pillar noise.
Anyone else heard this?
Can’t see I have a leak or split pipe as it’s not always happening and mostly works fine. Surely can’t fix itself ?

I heard a similar sound when using the rear washer during freezing conditions. Cleared once the weather improved.

That’s when it started for me. Now I get it even at 8c on occasion. Not always though.

Ice in the tube thawing to slush? That might make the sound till it thaws completely.

This at temps well above freezing.
Unless there’s crap in the pipe maybe and it’s getting blocked periodically? My worry is that fluid is being squirted inside the roof somewhere. Though no evidence of dampness in headlining which I assume is what’s hiding the pipe work.

I get this noise on occasions, I'm presuming that the water in the pipe to the rear washer has ran back to the reservoir, when you hit the rear wash you can hear the water going back up the pipe, perhaps there is a join or a kink in that area creating the noise?
