Yep, not a lot wrong with that reasoning. I have an 18 month old car that’s lost about £17k in that time - almost £1k a month. Makes you think .

Dunno, I’ve got a removable tow ball and bits contained in a polystyrene tray in mine. The tray etc. Came as part of the tow kit.

Been there, done that, got the T shirt. I was basically accused of doing it myself and thereafter there was 6 months of Hell that resulted in a fraught rejection.

I’d probably take a Q7. Perhaps a Volvo. Both have bad depreciation, but then so does a D5. You don’t buy a new car for an investment.
