Where to site French Motorway tag
I put my tag on the mottled area last year and it failed to work at all.
It was a few years old, so I have returned it and got a new one now.
Before I stick it on the windscreen I thought I would double check that the mottled area area on the passenger side is OK.
Just a little nervous after last year's failure!!

Passenger side (i.e. French drivers side) in the mottled area is where I always mount mine. Make sure you mount it so it can be pulled off the clip easily as it will be reversed compared to mounting on drivers side. If you do have issue then you can simply unclip it from the holder and hold it out the window.
If your last one was a few years old the battery may have gone or been too weak. The new ones have an estimated battery life shown in your account into on the Sanef Tolling website.

Thanks for the reply, I assumed that the battery was indeed on the way out.
As you say the account now gives an indication of battery life.
The biggest pain is that the new tag is a different design to my previuos one and so have had to ease off the old clip from the screen.

Yeah that is a pain. The clips are very well stuck down.
Just makes sure you mount the right way to remove the tag
