I would think there's something wrong (or inControl thinks so anyway) with the map on the USB stick, IF I were you I would delete all that is on the USB then download it again first, then try and install again. If there's nothing else on the USB stick I would even format it rather than just delete everything on it.

I guess you have done it before successfully?
Is this the latest map 08.030.0083.0154?

Yes it's the latest map, I've updated loads of times, although this is the first since the Phase 3 upgrade. I've also reformatted the usb stick and tried again - pics were from the second attempt.
Still waiting to hear from the dealer.

Dealer has asked me to download maps once more and try again. If that doesn't work, he fears the infotainment module will need replacing..... Earliest slot he has with a courtesy car is end July!

Ouch, this sounds bad.
I would have thought the system would verify, copy and install the new map but retain the old version in case of an issue (like this) and then revert to the currently installed data if need be. If the map verified OK then the issue would I assume be with the Nav software breaking. They should be able to re-install it I would have thought.

Maybe not as bad as first feared. Looks like an issue with completing the installation. When I got back into the car after it had been parked for 8 hours, the ICTP seemed to take forever to boot up, once it did ‘installation complete’ appeared on the screen and everything now seems to work as before, except commutes which seem to have been screwed up. Glad it doesn’t need a trip back to the dealer.
