    Air suspension setting for jacking?

Could someone please tell me which setting I set the air suspension to for when I jack the car up. Common sense tells me that it has to be locked into the off road height position but is that right?

The iGUIDE doesn’t mention anything about raising to off road height. So assume that unlike the D3/4 there is no need to raise the suspension.

Oh. It does. Very last safety warning:

For vehicles fitted with an electronic air suspension, select off-road height before jacking the vehicle. See OFF-ROAD HEIGHT[/code]

    Wheel swap.

Although handbook (RTFM) said select "off road" setting, Modern Tyres (Northern Ireland company) said to select and lock to "Access Mode" then removed and swapped wheels (front to rear). This worked perfectly.

Selecting off-road mode for jacking sounds non-sense. The car will go to extended off-road mode as soon as it feels the jack trying to push it up. I'm sure there's a valid reason for the manual to say that, but try to do it yourself and let me go how it went Whistle

I’ve had the wheels swapped around. The garage just uses two trolly jacks on the front wishbone areas and leaves a door open. No off-road height or anything.

The guy that changed a tyre on mine knew about the off-road height thing. He said “ask how I know”. He’d trashed the air suspension on a D3/D4 when he first encountered one….
