    How is the oil physically tested ...do you do a full drain?

    No full drain. I took a 100 ml sample, directly after the engine got switched off. The sample was taken a few cm above the oil swamp's bottom.

    Use the tube on the car where oil can be sucked out for service. Its all very simple.
