    Detachable tow Bar and Recovery Point

    Hi

    Can anyone with a detachable towbar share an image of the recovery point on the rear?

    Somewhere for a shackle and strop... Like the D4 had behind the towing electrics cover.

    Yes, there's a good recovery point. You need to take the cover off to use it but you don't need to take the cover off to use the towbar

    There are 4 x plastic grommets holding on the tow eye cover.
    You will have to get underneath the rear of the car to access them as attached to the bumper.
    Use a 2p piece and turn anticlockwise and your sorted.
    Dont just YANK it off. Laughing
    I asked for my original tow eye cover back hence thats how i know about the 4 plastic grommets. Thumbs Up

    There's also a good recovery point at the front under the trim. Incase you need to do a reverse pull out.....or Incase you need recovering Embarassed Laughing

    Again, there's some clips to turn at he bottom and then the top edge just pulls off.

    Your electrical connector looks different to mine, is the top a 7 pin and the bottom a 6 pin connector? Or 5 even?
