Auto Dim Mirror Question
A simple question I hope.
Driving up the M1 last night, I noticed that the headlights of cars behind were causing the rear-view and driver's wing mirror to auto-dim but not the passenger side wing mirror.
I'd not noticed before whether the passenger side mirror had dimmed or not. Is it supposed to?
I don't find the lights in the passenger side mirror any problem and I don't think there's really any need for it to dim but I'm just curious whether having only one wing mirror dimming is by design or if it's broken?

They do normally all dim, but they work independantly of one another. Depends on position of light from behind. I've had one on / one off for short periods.
If it doesn't dim at any time, then I suppose there could be a fault.
