I’m not sure the engine would last longer though as it is ‘closed’ a bit and therefore needs to go higher in revs to achieve same accelaryand speed. With a ‘tuned’ and more powerful car it is the opposite, the engine is full open and will work at lower revs, therefore lasting longer if not abused and consume less

Thanks for all that!!
I have spoken to Alive Tuning (I used them on my old D2) and they can remove the power limiter or tune it completely for the same price, so I will probably do that later this year (summer time).
I will be collecting my D5 on Thursday next week, so I will look forward to it!!
