    Tachograph fitment in D5

    Has anyone had a tachograph fitted in the D5?

    If so did you manage to get it done without any damage to facias etc?

    Where did you have it put?

    Who did it?

    How much did it end up costing?

    I think the best place for this to be fitted would be under the climate control panel. Using the space below:




    Also there is a space allocation for a KITAS sensor on the transfer box. I believe this might be the oil filler plug (remove and replace with sensor).

    Unfortunately I dont know if anyone makes a holder. The only way I can see is to actually cut through the trim and make the opening for the unit.

    You could try Brodit. They do all sorts of mounting platforms (not just phones). One may work for a tacho maybe?

    I seem to remember that some digital units are standard radio DIN sizes., but I might be wrong.
    3.0 HSE. climate HUD active diff. elec towbar. FBH and timed climate.Capability plus pack.split TV. surround sound. Intelligent seating. adaptive lights, wade sensing. 360 cameras.pro pack.cooler.advanced tow, auto park,activity key+ more!!!!
