Interesting, just received an email from JLR saying "we notice you havent activated the software update system in your Land Rover blah balh...."
I received this email too this morning (surprisingly). It must mean my dealer finally updated me in TOPIx I guess. Sure enough I checked the car and 19B was waiting for download. Yeah!
received this today, I have been pressing software update to see if anything arrives and it was saying up to date, then I got a email saying pls update. Clearly this is a phased roll out update

Thanks for this although I think what people are looking for are details on the S19B_19.40 version that has just been released. I’ve just updated mine but will need to check tomorrow as to whether there is any noticeable difference.
tried it last night connected to house wifi. Tried twice and it said no update was available (I have 18D so there is an update available esp as JLR have written to me to tell me to do it!)
I will try again tomorrow when working from home and see if a couple of goes have woke the system up.
When I started the D5 this morning and began pulling out of the garage, I got a popup that stated I had an update and would I like to install now?
I told it to Remind Later. Was stopped at a loooong stoplight and so I went in and told it to "Check for Updates". It told me "Software is up to date."
Continued my drive, arrived at work, and turned on my phone's hotspot to connect the car with it running. Got the universal download icon in the upper right, navigated to the update screen, and pressed "Check for Update." Told me a new version was available; I selected "Install Update" and it began downloading. Didn't dare turn off the car.
All in, downloading and installing took about 30 minutes over my phone's hotspot in a semi-dead zone for 4G signal. Finally got a note on the screen that said something to the effect of, "Install will complete when vehicle is shut down." Will see what happens when I turn it back on later today....
mine started to download this morning, on home wifi, but after over 20 mins I gave up sitting there esp as there is no progress indicator so not a clue what it was doing.
Will let it carry on later, just means sitting in the car for a while.
Successful OTA last night via home WiFi, man that beat going to the dealer! Agree lack of progress bar was frustrating, kept wondering if it was locked up, but all ended well.
