Stop/start ...not.
Whether it’s purely coincidental but having just updated my maps...the Bluetooth pairing with my phone had to be redone and ....my stop/start is now don’t stop/keep running. I’ve tried various permutations of braking hard switching off aircon etc...it just doesn’t want to stop. Any suggestions ?

Have you knocked the switch that turns it on/off ?
Other thing if the battery is not fully charged the stop/start won’t work.

The A button is unlit which I believe has always been like that. Pressing it ...‘A off’ is then displayed on screen which I assumed meant the stop/start was disabled?
Battery should be ok as it was after a 20min 50-60mph drive

Ok will look into that. Shame the car hasn’t got an onboard battery meter, like the old days.
I suppose I haven’t used the car as much of late but I normally see the tailgate not opening if the battery is low.
Got a long journey next Monday so that should charge it up.

Update: The function is back today. Maybe it was that the battery was down a bit too far. I also wonder if like many functions, they don’t change live on these cars....you need to switch off and restart for the new setting to take effect?
Whatever the case, thanks for your assistance.

There is a secondary battery that runs this feature that dies on every D5 I’ve ever heard of. You can have it replaced under warranty if you like the feature but I kind of like it without

I'm not so sure there is a 2nd battery, as was on the D4. I read somewhere there is a capacitor taking care of power for the stop start function. If only I could disable this function permanently.....
