    I have a Lux and can hear the fan kick in when you turn the heated seat on.

    I'm going to have to check this with my HSE today, I don't think I've ever heard nor felt the fan with heat.

    Are you sure its not the main heater fan your hearing, as its dual function dial ?
    Then again maybe the LUX has a fan and the HSE a heating mat, or vice versa.

    I’m still confused I have to say..can anyone confirm they have a fan powered seat heater (not cooler) ?
    I can’t hear a fan (or see the seat squab ‘lifting’ from the air pressure like the dealer says).
    So either my seat heating fan is broken, or I have the electric mat, and that’s partly gone instead.
    Might borrow a thermal camera to have a look.

    I have a Mar 20 HSE Lux and the seat / lumbar heating is through a heating mat on all seats and the cooling is via a fan controlled outlet from the A/C system to all seats. There is no 'blow' effect in the heat mode and the cooling is very quiet but very noticeable.

    tried my MY17 HSE last night. when I enable the heated seats, the blower starts for like a second, then turns off and from then on it's just the mat. I imagine that's because the system on start doesn't know for sure if you're going with heating or cooling.

    My heated seats were lukewarm at most in position 3. I asked the dealer and they checked connections, fuses, and hardware. Everything was fine. The issue was that the software that controls the seat's temperature was out of date. After they did the update, the heating seats option works fine. Hope it helps
