Disco 5 issues
My love hate relationship with my Disco 5 continues. I bought my car new in September 2019 and has been in and out of the dealer ever since with various issues. It has now been in the dealer for over a month waiting on a part for a warranty issue with a NOX sensor. I have been supplied with a like for like Disco 5 courtesy car, but I wondered what rights I have of rejecting my car due to the constant problems I am having? I know I am not the first and wont be the last, but it really annoys me that Land Rover constantly get away with putting out sub standard product. I don't really want to change to a Land Cruiser, but I feel I have no choice as I need a reliable 4x4 for off roading, towing, family car etc..

It’s a long time since you got your car, but use covid to your advantage if you can - stating that you really only had full use of it up to the beginning of lockdown 1, and during those first six months it was out of action for N number of weeks.
Get your dealer Head of CS onside, you will absolutely need them to fight your corner with LR. Be clear that you love the car , very disappointed to have a lemon and fully intend ordering another. Once your rejection is accepted, you can review your options.

I rejected a D4 at 2 years old and had no issues but the issues with the car had been documented with LR customer services from day one

I rejected after 2 years ownership. Have a good record of issues and if you have finance company, speak to them. Blackhorse were faultless in there support of my case.
