    Manual not correct

I am trying to check the level of AdBlue.

The manual says its in the menu under 'vehicle information' (2017 build),

but there is no such tag at all.. Who owns a 2017 SD4 and knows where to look ?

I recall that when I had my 2017 HSE Lux it had the analogue instrumentation panel and it did have the Ad Blue level.

I checked all online manuals : they are the same in this respect for all model years,

I guessed somebody deleted an older version and misfiled a newer model manual..

It's an HSE so if any had a level indication, this should have..

Or it's a result of one update that deleted this function if its hardwired differently.. Confused

My 2017 HSE Luxury doesn't give the actual level, just says if the level is OK or not. It is in the same menu as for the service interval.

That menu 'service'does not exist in my car..

Its either 'drivers assistance' or 'vehicle info' ; both have no submenu with
service interval or anything on AdBlue..

The phone app has the info, in the 'status' section:

I think the SD4 and TD6 have different menus. On my SD4 I don't think I can find the oil level via the screen / menu. Dipstick only

Also the app is different. It only tells me service is required in 25k km..

I found it in the menu but you can only have the ignition on, not the engine running.

    Under Vehicle Information, "Next Service"

OK. I'll try it out !

No luck. Not only the app looks to have a different setup,
it doesn't show more details when the car is running..

Sorry, I meant the in-car vehicle menu.

This is what shows in mine. In the first 2 pictures, the ignition is on but engine not running.

    and selecting that shows:

With the engine running, the "vehicle info" menu changes and the "Next service" menu item disappears and "show warnings" is greyed out:

The good thing is your's shows no issues, in which case you'd have enough DEF for 2,500km at least (provided you're not towing heavy trailers a lot).

Easy way is on the phone app, it shows you the adblue range there.

    found it !!!!

The problem is the poorly (bad) translation of the manual. Shocked

They refer to menu's with names that don't exist ; the onboard translation differs from the manual,

as the manual and the car menu have different titles

On top of that; other menu names are nearer to the phrases in the manual... Rolling Eyes

Where the manual says "Bestuurdershulp" (=driver assistance), the name of the relevant screen

is "Boordinformatie" (=onboard information / vehicle info)..

As there is another screen with the name "Bestuurdershulp", and one with "Vehicle settings",

only the submenu "next service" took me to the correct screen... Confused
