This originates from the US.. .. where (not too bright) potential buyers went
looking for a 'Range Rover' dealer, not knowing the brand is Land Rover..
Now they are expanding on that I guess. But one could see Jaguar as a (sub)
brand of Land Rover, and that doesn't really "fly-of-the-shelves' in the USA.
So I guess a branding to Discovery / Range Rover / Defender , would make
the problem for that set of wannabee buyers 3 times bigger..
They should hold on to their bootstraps and revive Range Rover as the brand,
and then LR 1 / LR 2 / LR 3 , and why not make Jaguar in the USA LRJ1 LRJ2...
Its all in the same showroom anyway..
