18" Wheels ?
Does anyone happen to know if 18" wheels would fit (in principle)?
I'm thinking 285/60r18 AT tyres and obviously the offset would be a consideration but only if 18" would clear the calipers etc, in the first place.
The smallest size that I saw on the configurator was 19", hence my question.

18" Wheels
Hello,
In Australia there is a fellow who runs GOE or Green Oval Experience, by the name of Gordon German.
He has had designed and had Compomotive Wheels built 18" wheels especially for the vehicles (D4 & RRS) with the larger brake calipers.
Look it up on the web and contact him. He may not yet be able to definitively answer your question as the D5 is not available to customers until July/August this year.
I'm also interested as the First Edition which I have ordered, comes with 22" wheels which look great around town but not so useful when I want to take it up into the mountains and need to let the pressures down.
The GOE wheels are rated higher than the standard rims in load capacity and there is a lot more choice of tyres suitable for off the beaten track.
They may also be cheaper for you as they're made in U.K.
Let me know how you get on.
Regards
Paul

Kingsley Holgate has the 18" compomotives on his car so I'd imagine they fit.

Good day,
The 18“ Componotive wheels do NOT fit the MY 19 SD6 HSE models.
The front calipers of that model are far larger than the MY17 models, which are shown in the pics with retrofitted 18“ wheels. I cannot speak for the 4-cylinder models, these might have smaller calipers.
Intried to fit the Componotive wheels with and without spacers, but the inner diameter of the wheel is smaller than the calipers require.
Below is a picture of an My17 front wheel
Compared to my MY19 wheel.
