  Slightly better fuel economy for road use, to actually use the tyres and save the AT3s tread for when it's actually needed and they look smart.
  
  There's no point in having the 22s still brand new and unused when I sell the car, I might as well use them on summer road trips when there's no specific reason to prefer the AT3s.
