Mobile Phones.
Can anyone give me a quick update with regards too the maximum number of mobile phones that can be paired up to the car with regards to the LR In control apps.??
Is it just a case of 1 mobile phone being linked as the primary holder of the account ??
I am hoping too pair at least 4 mobiles.
I have 2 phones, 1 personal and 1 for work, as does my wife.
Hence i want too know will i have to carry both phones in the car all the time or just one.
Rather just carry the one phone if possible .
Cheers

The manual does not say how many, but I would guess it is a minimum of 4.
I would expect it to look for phones in order of the most recent connected, not a primary one?
So if only phone in the car then no problem, but if several phones then it would select the most recent?
A test is probably the only way to prove it!!

Thanks for that Jim
It was more for doing stuff like starting the car up on a cold day, setting the heater temperatures and folding the seats etc.
Last thing i want is my kids messing about with the settings

RR,
If it's the apps for starting the car and folding the seats etc, then the answer is 'infinite' !
You log into a web based account so any number of phones with the app downloaded can be used as that then allows you to access the relent account.
Mrs Scrumps and I have separate accounts for the the RRS AB and the D5 and can access both from any of our phones or iPads with the relevant log-in.

Scrumps - how do you get the same car on two accounts? Mrs F and I set up separate accounts but when I try to add the D5 it tells me it's associated with another account already. It works if I use Mrs F's email and password on my phone but it seems your version is more elegant.

Stuart,
You can access more than one car on a single account....if it's initially set up that way....I believe.
We have 2 cars and 2 accounts. I log in as SWMBO to work the D5 , she logs in as me to work the RRS.
It's based on e-mail addresses and we each have one of those for separate traffic!!!
That's probably the same way you are working, but that wasn't RR's exam question!
