Drain holes on a panoramic sunroof?

I have a 20plate Disco Landmark and I'm getting water in the cabin.
I've looked at the door and tailgate seals and all seems good, there is no water in the doors. It was mostly in the front floorwell and there was a lot in the foot rails.

Searching it seems the sunroof drain can be a common cause but mine is a panoramic one.

I was wondering if it has a drain as I can't see why it would need one, but if it does can anyone point me to where can find it. I don't want to start pulling trim off uncesseserily.

I used the aqua vac to dry it out as best I could and got about 10lt that way and I've now got a heater in there with a dehumidifyer. I expect it will take some time to dry properly but it's useless unless I can cure the fault. Any advice would be appriciated, TIA

    Is the headliner wet?
What makes you so sure it’s the roof leaking and not the windscreen? A significant number of water in the footwell start with the dreaded JLR windscreen plague.

Unless I'm mistaken fixed panos dont have a drain? I may be wring.

On old RR405’s with opening roofs the point at which the drain tube connected to the sun roof cassette rotted leading to water igress but this was normally under the rear of the front seats. Both sides had a drain tube running down the D posts.

That much water may well be leaking windscreen seal. I understand this starts at the top middle area.

    Thanks for getting back
@ Wolfpack. I can't be sure its not the windscreen but I read somewhere that you can test for some play in it and you'll see some movement if the seal has gone. I gave that a wiggle and it's rock solid. Also took the A beam external panals off, there was a bit of grime in the drain channels but no obvious sign of leak. The dash is dry and interal A beam trim is also dry.

@ajac. No sign of water on the internal trim but its leather so I'm not sure not long that would take to show.

I was thinking I might be able to sort a blocked drain but I can't do a windscreen. I believe the top side trims just lift off, so I'll get some heat on those to lift them and have a look. After that it's a call to Autoglass.
I'll let you know what I find.

Having spent the last few months trying to understand my windscreen leak I can categorically say it’s a complex issue that cannot be diagnosed with a quick flex.

At the risk of boring others silly, there are two issues that result in windscreen leaks.

The seal to which the windscreen is bonded and the rubber ‘roofline-windscreen” trim.

I have a leak that ‘finds its way’ to the headliner behind the drivers sunvisor. To get there, water has to get past BOTH these supposed seals.

The lower ‘bonding’ seal can only be accessed with the windscreen removed. See photo.

However I have to ask…how come water is getting past the roofline rubber seal into this space between?

Looking at this area it doesn’t seem like a natural “designed” drain route for rain! It seems to me that water shouldn’t really get there, past the roofline rubber seal.

Photo . With roofline seal missing …….showing how water must get past it anywhere along its length to get to the lower seal gap.

Stuff some kitchen towel up between the windscreen and the headliner during the next rainstorm if you want to rule it out!
