    Window regulator

    Hi all,
    I think the front passengers side window regulator has gone.
    Are they the same for pre and post face lift?
    I have seen a lot advertised as up to 2020 and mine is a 2021 face lift.

    Hi Ian.
    All the window regulators I've seen are listed as fitting L462's between 2017 and 2024. So it looks like the same regulators fitted on all models between those years. I've replaced 2 on my 2017 TD6 in the year and a half I've owned it.

    Plenty of good OE quality ones on eBay.

    Hoping it is the regulator

    I heard a crunch the other day but all seemed ok
    Then yesterday. Put window down. Put back up. Went half way.
    Then went down on its own.

    Now will not go up more than about an inch. But will go down again
    So guessing something has frayed or snapped

    So will replace with one from the guys in Selby.

    Called a local Indi today £273 non oem.
    Don’t need it that urgently

    All the tell tale signs of a rusty regulator cable snapping. The eBay replacements from that place in Selby come with pre-greased cables (and a freebie pair of work gloves) so it's unlikely to happen again. Thumbs Up

    Ffs.. just pulled into Portsmouth ferry terminal to go over to Spain… put window down and ping.. dropped to the bottom… good job I’ve arrived early.. had to take the door panel off and cut the remaining rusty cable, managed to wedge the glass underneath.. going to be fun driving round Spain with a stuck window

    There are quite a few lr parts suppliers around Spain.
    It's a fairly easy roadside fix if you've got some torx drivers?
