    Cruise control issues

    I forgot to mention/ask yesterday, but is anyone suffering from power loss whilst they have the cruise control engaged??

    180 mile round trip and on several occasions the engine just dipped powerwise. Cruise control was set to 70 mph but was only doing 67 according to the road angel (which is gps and more accurate)

    I do know that the speed slightly dips if cars going up a steep incline, and that it slightly increases if going downhill.

    The dual carriageway was on a flat stretch when I was experiencing these issues. Again on the return trip, my wife also mentioned the cars loosing power. You can clearly hear the cars revs seem too dip when this happens, then the car seems too recover itself. Just felt like the car is coasting along in neutral. The same thing happened after cruise control was disengaged. I experienced it on at least 4 occasions when I was driving. I had to pull over twice in a parking place, and thought it may be another call to the recovery guys again. Censored

    Luckily no smoking issues, but when I stopped to refuel the acrid burnt plastic smell was emitting strongly from the bulkhead area again. Could easily be smelt by standing next too windscreen on the passenger side. Not happy nor is the Mrs. Sad

    Had an issue with mine not maintaining the speed going up hill by a lot and increasing a LOT going down hill. The car went back to the dealers and they did something and have not had the issue since but have not used the car much either since
    Namib Orange 1st Edition with black roof and wheels.
    Privacy, tow bar, drive pack, surround camera, heated front & rear seats, auto dim door mirrors, side steps, remote Pro, RSE, arm rest fridge dash cam front and rear.

    Hi Russell I do remember a good few posts back that you mentioned you had issues (20 mph seems to ring a bell ?) Is it possible it's only affecting the First Editions then Shocked Censored

    No issues with mine. Did a long motorway trip through France and on one stretch had cruise on for 2 1/2 hours constant and no issues.
